Biography : 

Justin Shen is an MA student in the Department of English at U of T. He earned his Honours BA in English from McGill University in May 2023, where he wrote his undergraduate thesis on music and temporality in the novels of Richard Powers. He is interested in the intersection between literature and sound, specifically novelistic representations of sound and their philosophical and political implications.
