Please join us for an evening of excellent literature and great company. Award-winning and critically acclaimed authors from the Department of English will be reading from their latest works and engaging in a lively Q&A session moderated by Professor Noor Naga.
- Professor Randy Boyagoda will read from Little Sanctuary, a young adult dystopian tale that explores privilege and peril in the Global South.
- Professor Robert McGill will share an excerpt from Simple Creatures, a collection of stories that explore the heartaches and joys of people desperate to uncomplicate their complicated world.
- Professor Ian Williams will read from What I Mean To Say: Remaking Conversation in Our Time, the focus of his October 2024 Massey Lectures, which seeks to ignite a conversation about conversation.
The U of T Bookstore will be selling copies of these titles at the event.
